Bridal Shower cupcakes
My client sent me a picture of some beautiful cupcakes. Being so hot and humid in Puerto Rico, I thought the frosting wouldn't hold up to the heat. Luckily, I was wrong. I love the flower look of these cupcakes!

Wedding cupcakes
In April, I catered a wedding at a beautiful location, over looking the water. I've done a birthday party there, also. I loved this wedding because I thought the colors of the cupcakes were so bright and pretty. I also included a new flavor, Tres Leches!
The flavors included: mini Smores, Red Velvet, Tres Leches, Double Chocolate Chip, mini Vanilla and White Chocolate Strawberry. I loved the simple blue flowers requested by the couple.

Elmo and a Rainbow cake
It was fun to make Elmo cupcakes! A few years ago, I never could've imagined making them or some of the others I've done, but what a fun change. I was pretty happy with Elmo and would love to make him again or some of his Sesame Street friends.

I received an order to make a rainbow cupcake cake. Reminding me of the days when I loved rainbows (and still do, of course!), I loved making these rainbows. I felt like a little girl again :) The cupcakes were confetti cupcakes with chocolate frosting.

Birthdays!
Wow, I had no idea I would be so busy for Administrative Professional's Day. Thank you to everyone who placed an order!!
I've done a few birthdays lately. One was unusual or at least it was for me! The characters are from the Go Go Crazy Bones, which is quite popular.. who knew!!
The ones I re-created are: Cody, Hiraku and Tut. I've actually grown quite fond of them now :) Both sets of pictures are for the same birthday boy. He was lucky enough to get to celebrate twice.
The Go Go cupcakes are both Chocolate and Vanilla, with Chocolate and Vanilla frosting.
The sports cupcakes are Chocolate with Vanilla frosting.

Baby Feet!
For about a week, I've been working on baby feet and baby toes! 48 pairs of feet and 480 toes. Making each one by hand, let's just say this took awhile. I will also say that they were fun to make. Each time I have a new request, I get to experiment and have fun, new pictures.
Here they are, Cookies and Cream cupcakes with lots and lots of baby feet!

April Fools Day!
Who doesn't love April Fools Day? Ok, well, I don't generally do anything to celebrate, but I saw these great ideas in the Hello Cupcake book. Yesterday was the perfect day to try them out.
Corn, spaghetti and meatballs and popcorn cupcakes. Very fun to make and I had to get creative since I couldn't find all the suggested candies.

Chocolate and Marshmallows!!
After tasting a great chocolatey marshmallow cupcake at a bakery, I've been wanting to try one for awhile. I experimented some time ago with regular marshmallows. It didn't turn out too well :(
I thought I'd try again! This time, I decided NOT to bake them inside the cupcake. I made the marshmallows, added them to the baked cupcake and voila, soooo good! It's been added to my personal list of favorites :)
They are chocolate cupcakes with marshmallow inside and a chocolate glaze on top. Here's the inside:

Flavor of the Month - March
Well, I'm not always great about staying updated with my blogging, but I thought I'd post some pics of March's cupcake: Chocolate Mint. I made different cupcakes, some with Andes Mints, Junior Mints and mini Peppermint Patties. The Andes Mints were my favorite!!

Butterflies and Pirates
I had fun making these cupcakes. The party theme was Tinkerbell so this was Tinkerbell's garden. The look on the birthday girl's face was wonderful! Since the boy had a recent birthday, he had the pirates!
